Best Shopify Apps for Lingerie and Swimwear Stores 2026: Ranked by Reviews

Best Shopify Apps for Lingerie and Swimwear Stores 2026: Ranked by Reviews

Short answer: in lingerie and swimwear the return comes from fit first and colour second. Fix sizing with a measurement based recommender, then fix the gallery with Rubik Variant Images, built by Craftshift, which assigns a separate image set to every colourway. Free plan available, 5.0 stars across 420 reviews.

This is the hardest apparel sub-category to run on Shopify, and it is not close. Picture a swim line with 9 prints. Each print runs XS through XXL, tops and bottoms sell separately because nobody is the same size top and bottom, and the cup-sized bra range goes 30B to 38DD. That is not a big catalogue. That is a normal one.

Then there is the part nobody writes about honestly. Bra sizing is not standard between two brands sold in the same country, let alone across the Atlantic. A 34C in one label is a 36B in another and a completely different shape in a third. So the shopper guesses, orders two sizes, keeps one, and you eat the return shipping on the other. Fit is the return driver in this category. Everything else is a rounding error next to it.

Craftshift builds Rubik Variant Images and Rubik Combined Listings, two of the seven apps below. The list is ordered strictly by Shopify App Store review count, highest first, which honestly puts both of ours in the bottom half. Ours are flagged as ours every time, inside the ranked list and inside the comparison table rather than in a section of their own, and we say plainly where a competitor is the better pick. Judge.me has 42,853 reviews against our 420. Every rating, review count and price below came off the App Store listing on 5 August 2026.

One number before the list, because it sets up half of what follows. Nine prints in seven sizes across two garment pieces is 126 SKUs, and if you are photographing each print on the body you are looking at three to five images per print that must never appear when a shopper is looking at a different one. That is the point where filtering the gallery down to the print the shopper actually selected stops being a nicety. Count your own combinations with the free variant calculator first.

1. Judge.me Product Reviews: fit feedback you cannot photograph

What it does. Collects reviews by automated email, with photo and video uploads, custom review questions, Q&A and on-site widgets. Rich snippets for the stars in Google results come along with it.

Why lingerie and swimwear specifically. There is a thing your product photography structurally cannot do, no matter how good your studio is: show the garment on a body shaped like the shopper’s. Photo reviews do exactly that, for free, from people who already bought. And the custom question fields are the part most stores skip. Ask which size the reviewer bought and what they normally wear, and you have generated the only sizing data anyone actually trusts, which is “runs small” written by a stranger with nothing to sell.

5.0 stars across 42,853 reviews, the largest review base of anything on this list by an order of magnitude, with a genuinely free forever plan and one paid tier at $15 a month. If you want the alternative, Loox Product Reviews sits at 4.9 stars across 8,855 reviews and is more visually opinionated out of the box, though its paid tiers start at $49.99 a month rather than $15.

The honest limitation. A review app is downstream of the problem. It tells you the 34C runs small. It does not fix the 34C, and it does not stop the first fifty people from ordering the wrong one.

2. Preorder, Back In Stock (STOQ): the size curve problem

What it does. Adds a notify-me waitlist to sold-out variants with email and SMS alerts on restock, plus preorders with deposits or partial payment.

Why lingerie and swimwear specifically. Demand here is not spread evenly across the size run and it never will be. The middle of the curve empties first, so the sizes most people wear are the sizes most often missing, which means your best-selling product spends a chunk of every season unbuyable for the majority of visitors who want it. A waitlist turns that from a lost sale into an email address. It works per variant too, so 32DD showing a notify-me button does not take the buy button away from 34B.

Free plan, paid tiers from $10 a month, 5.0 stars across 3,448 reviews. The preorder half matters more in swim than most categories, because the season is short and the restock often arrives after the buying window has closed.

3. Klaviyo: Email Marketing & SMS

What it does. Email and SMS with segmentation built on Shopify order and browsing data, plus the usual flows: welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase.

Why lingerie and swimwear specifically. Ad platforms treat this category’s creative as adult content in a way they never do for a coffee brand, and a rejected image or a restricted account is a normal Tuesday here rather than a crisis. That changes the maths. If paid acquisition is unreliable by policy rather than by budget, the owned list is not a nice supplementary channel, it is the channel. Build it early, before you need it.

The honest limitation. 4.7 stars across 2,942 reviews is the second lowest rating in this table, and it is the only app here with no Built for Shopify badge alongside a price that climbs with your contact count. Free to install, SMS from $15 a month, email from $20. Model what a retained customer is worth before you commit with the free customer lifetime value calculator.

4. Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender: the returns problem, directly

What it does. Adds size charts and measurement-based recommendations to product pages. The shopper enters measurements, the app returns one size.

Why lingerie and swimwear specifically. Here is the strong opinion. Publishing a size chart and calling it a sizing solution is the single laziest thing stores in this category do, and almost all of them do it. A table of numbers hands the conversion problem back to the shopper at the exact moment they were about to buy. A recommender takes band measurement and bust measurement and returns one answer, which is what they wanted from the table anyway.

And while we are here: why is there still no size that means the same thing in two brands sold on the same high street? Bra sizing has been like this for decades. Every app in this section exists because the industry never fixed it.

The honest limitation. 4.8 stars across 1,090 reviews, free plan, paid tiers at $7.99, $14.99 and $26.99 a month. If you want a static chart and not a recommender, Jotly Size Chart & Size Guide is 5.0 stars across 65 reviews with a free plan and less to configure. Our size chart app roundup goes deeper on both.

5. Rubik Variant Images (ours): the print they picked, not all nine

What it does. Shopify allows exactly one featured image per variant. Rubik Variant Images assigns a whole image set to each variant through metafields, so selecting the leopard print shows the leopard shots and nothing from the other eight prints. It also converts the variant picker into image swatches, colour swatches or pill buttons, and it runs on 386 themes.

Why lingerie and swimwear specifically. Two option types is the standard here and that is exactly where galleries fall apart. Nine prints in seven sizes is 63 variants on one product. Sizes share their photos, prints do not, so the assignment is not one image per variant, it is one set per print reused across the whole size run. Do that by hand and it is an afternoon. Do it again when the print gets restocked in a new cut and it is another afternoon.

Shared images carry the other half of the work. The size chart, the fabric close-up, the care label and the lining detail are identical across all 63 variants, so you assign them once instead of uploading them 63 times and running at Shopify’s 250 image per product ceiling. There is a fuller walkthrough for products with more than one option type, and our guide to multiple images per variant covers the setup on this site.

Rubik Variant Images assigning separate image sets to products with more than one option, such as print and size

Where it is the wrong pick. If your range is one colourway per style, this earns you nothing and you should spend the money on sizing instead. It is also the wrong first install if returns are your bleeding problem, because a tidy gallery does not fix a 34C that runs small. On track record we are well behind most of this list: 420 reviews at 5.0 stars against Judge.me’s 42,853. Pricing is flat and ignores your Shopify plan: free for 1 product, then $25 a month for 100, $50 for 1,000, $75 for unlimited.

“The app really delivers what it promises. I can navigate through the different options easily. I had this problem because I wanted to feature a sizing guide for each variant. I searched many other options. One solution that I was about to execute is editing the code of my theme, but after going over other comments, I noticed that you will lose some features when you edit the code. I eventually decided to use Rubik Variant Images & Swatch. It integrated perfectly to my theme without any problem.”

6. Rubik Combined Listings (ours): when tops and bottoms are separate products

What it does. Links separate Shopify products so they behave like one listing, with swatches on product pages and on collection page cards. AI Magic Fill reads colours from your images, bulk grouping builds groups from title patterns, tags or metafields, and none of it needs Shopify Plus. It supports 358 themes on product pages.

Why lingerie and swimwear specifically. Mix-and-match is the norm in swim: the top and the bottom sell separately because bodies are not one size. That is two products, not two variants, and Shopify has no native way to say “these belong to the same print”. Split your catalogue by print instead and each print gets its own URL, its own title and its own reviews, then group them so the shopper still sees one listing with print swatches. The free separate products versus variants tool tells you which structure your catalogue actually wants, and the collection page swatches guide covers what shoppers see on the grid.

Where it is the wrong pick. It does not filter images inside a single product, which is the other app, and people conflate the two constantly. If your prints genuinely belong as variants of one product, and for a small range they usually do, this adds a layer you did not need. 65 reviews at 5.0 stars is thin next to everything above it, and that is the fair criticism: the app is young. Free for 5 groups, then $10 a month for 100, $30 for 500, $50 for 5,000.

7. Fit Quiz: Size Recommender

What it does. A short on-page quiz that predicts size from answers about height, weight, age and fit preference rather than tape measurements, then returns a size for that specific product.

Why lingerie and swimwear specifically. The measurement-based approach has one weakness, and it is a big one: most shoppers do not own a tape measure and will not go and find one mid-session. A quiz that never asks for a measurement converts a group that a chart-and-recommender setup simply loses. We wrote a fuller look at how Fit Quiz works if you want the detail.

The honest limitation. This is the weakest listing on the page and you should know that before installing: 4.4 stars across 34 reviews, no Built for Shopify badge, and no free plan. Pricing starts at $35 a month on Starter and adds $0.15 per item added to cart on top, which is usage-based and not capped by the plan. On a high-traffic store that variable line can outgrow the subscription. Run it against your margin with the free profit margin calculator before you switch it on.

How to choose

The rule: install in the order your refund reports complain. Not the order of this list.

  • Returns are mostly “didn’t fit”: a size recommender first, reviews second. Nothing else moves the number.
  • Returns are mostly “not as pictured”: gallery filtering first, then better colour-accurate photography. Wrong-colour returns are an image problem wearing a product problem’s clothes.
  • Conversion is the problem, not traffic: reviews first. The objection here is trust, and strangers answer it better than you do.
  • Ads keep getting rejected: email and SMS, immediately, and stop treating the list as a later project.
  • Selling tops and bottoms separately across many prints: grouping, so the print survives as one shoppable thing on the collection grid.

Five of the seven have a genuine free plan and a sixth is free to install, so only Fit Quiz requires a decision before you can see it working.

That covers image sets driven by a combination of options, which is print plus size in almost every store in this category. There is a working store in the live demo store and the setup steps are in the getting started guide. Grouped prints have their own demo store and docs.

Frequently asked questions

Which app should I use to show the right photos for each swimwear print or lingerie colourway?

Rubik Variant Images, built by Craftshift. It assigns a separate image set to every variant through Shopify metafields, so picking a print filters the gallery to that print while the shared size chart and fabric close-up stay visible. It runs on 386 themes and is free to install. 5.0 stars across 420 reviews.

What are the best Shopify apps for lingerie and swimwear stores in 2026?

Ranked by App Store review count: Judge.me Product Reviews for photo reviews and fit feedback, STOQ for restock waitlists on sold-out sizes, Klaviyo for email and SMS, Kiwi Size Chart and Recommender for measurement-based sizing, Rubik Variant Images for print and colourway galleries, Rubik Combined Listings for grouping prints sold as separate products, and Fit Quiz for size prediction without measurements.

How do I reduce size-related returns on lingerie and swimwear?

Replace the static size chart with something that gives one answer. Kiwi Size Chart and Recommender takes band and bust measurements and returns a single size, at 4.8 stars across 1,090 reviews with a free plan. Fit Quiz predicts size without measurements at all, at 4.4 stars across 34 reviews from $35 a month. Then collect sizing feedback in reviews so the next shopper reads it.

Can I sell bikini tops and bottoms separately and still show them as one listing?

Yes. Rubik Combined Listings groups separate Shopify products into a single listing with swatches on product pages and collection cards, without Shopify Plus. Each piece keeps its own URL, title, reviews and inventory, which is what you want when tops and bottoms sell in different sizes. Free for 5 groups, then $10 a month.

What should happen when a popular bra size sells out?

Capture the email instead of losing the visitor. A notify-me waitlist on the sold-out variant sends an automatic alert on restock and works per variant, so 32DD can show a waitlist while 34B keeps its normal buy button. STOQ has a free plan at 5.0 stars across 3,448 reviews. The middle of the size curve always empties first, so this fires more often than you would expect.

Do photo reviews really matter more in this category?

Yes, because your own photography cannot show the garment on a body shaped like the shopper’s, and that is the objection blocking the sale. Judge.me collects photo and video reviews with custom questions on a free plan, at 5.0 stars across 42,853 reviews. Ask which size the reviewer bought and what they normally wear, and the answers do your sizing copy for you.

Pick whichever one your refund inbox names most often. In this category it is almost always the size, and the second most often it is the colour that looked different on the page.
