Best Shopify page builder apps 2026: Instant, GemPages, PageFly and alternatives
Short answer: there’s no single best Shopify page builder. EComposer tops Shopify’s own page builder category, PageFly and GemPages have the most reviews, and Instant builds pages from an AI first draft or a pasted Figma design. Foxify and Omnise have the cheapest paid plans, from $19 and $19.99 a month.
Picture a store launching a new collection next week. The theme’s product template is fine for the core range, but the launch needs a landing page with a video hero, a comparison block and a countdown, and nobody on the team writes Liquid. That’s the moment a page builder earns its monthly fee. The hard part is picking one, because seven serious options all promise the same thing on their listings.
Who’s writing this: Craftshift doesn’t build a page builder. We build variant image and combined listings apps that run inside these builders, so we’ve had to support every one of them, and we have no stake in which one you pick. The seven below appear in the order Shopify’s own Page builder category listed them on September 26, 2026. Every rating, plan and price is from each app’s App Store listing, checked that day, with the developer’s own site noted where it says something different.

Do you need a page builder at all?
Often, no. An Online Store 2.0 theme already lets you build pages from sections and blocks in the theme editor, and for a standard product page that’s plenty. A builder starts to pay off when you need layouts your theme doesn’t offer, landing pages for campaigns, or A/B tests on page designs, and you’d rather not hire a developer each time.
Our opinion: if you only need one special page, try a free plan before paying for anything. Most of the builders below publish one page for free, and some stores never need more. Before you commit, check whether your theme already covers the job with our free Shopify themes guide.

Prices are the monthly plans on each App Store listing. Several developers’ own sites show lower per-month prices that assume a year paid upfront (GemPages no longer sells yearly plans to new customers), which is why you’ll see different numbers quoted around the web. Template counts are as each listing states them.
1. EComposer: first in Shopify’s category
EComposer is by EComposer of Wan Chai, Hong Kong. It launched on May 6, 2022, holds 4.9 stars across 3,476 reviews, and carries the Built for Shopify badge. EComposer builds landing pages, product pages and sections from 400+ templates, with more than 30 CRO add-ons, Global Blocks you edit once and reuse, and multi-market support. A/B testing comes on Pro and above.
Pricing: Free (1 live page or section, 5 saved templates, 50 AI credits), Standard $25 a month, Pro $49, Premium $129, with a 7-day free trial. Paid yearly, the listing prices are $228, $468 and $1,236.
2. Foxify: the cheapest paid start
Foxify is by FoxEcom of San Jose, California. It launched on October 31, 2022, holds 4.8 stars across 327 reviews, and carries the Built for Shopify badge. It ships 250+ CRO templates, imports Figma and HTML designs on its Growth plan, and offers upsell, cross-sell, buy-one-get-one and wishlist features built in or through integrations, plus page analytics and an SEO checker.
Pricing: Foxify’s paid plans start at $19 a month, the lowest in this list. Free publishes 1 page and 1 section; Starter is $19, Growth $39 (which adds Figma and HTML import) and Enterprise $99, with a 7-day free trial. On Starter and Growth, unlimited blog posts cost $20 a month extra.
Worth knowing: its FAQ says published pages and sections stay live for 90 days after you uninstall, then unpublish automatically.
3. GemPages: the veteran, with funnels
GemPages is by GemCommerce of Hanoi and is the oldest builder here, launched on March 13, 2017. It holds 4.9 stars across 4,250 reviews. GemPages turns an image or a URL into an editable layout with its GemAI tool, and adds 400+ CRO templates and sections, sales funnels with post-purchase upsells and downsells, A/B offer testing, and 160+ app integrations.
Pricing: Free (1 published page), Build $29 a month, Optimize $59, Enterprise $199. GemPages’ site still displays lower yearly prices, but its own pricing FAQ says yearly plans are no longer offered to new customers.
4. Omnise (formerly Beae): AI pages with section-level A/B tests
If you knew this one as Beae, it’s the same app: the listing now reads “Omnise (formerly Beae)”, and the old App Store address redirects to it. It’s by Omnise.com of Hanoi, launched on November 22, 2021, and holds 4.9 stars across 883 reviews with the Built for Shopify badge. Omnise generates whole pages and sections from a prompt, plans them with a feature it calls AI Blueprint, and runs A/B tests at section level on every paid plan.
Pricing: Free (1 published slot with Omnise branding, 10 draft pages), Start $19.99 a month, Pro $39.99, Max $79.99. A published slot counts any page, template, section or A/B variant you publish.
5. PageFly: the most reviewed
PageFly, also from Hanoi, launched on September 28, 2017, and has the largest review count of any builder here: 4.9 stars across 5,897 reviews. Its own site says more than 230,000 merchants use it. PageFly builds pages from 320+ templates with A/B tests and heatmaps built in, plus an AI page audit, 130+ app integrations, and a cart drawer and Markets localisation that are both marked beta.
Pricing: Free (1 published page or section, 10 AI credits a month), Builder $24 a month (from 5 published pages or sections, $5 per 5 more), Accelerate $99 (unlimited), Enterprise $299. PageFly’s own pricing page lists further tiers that aren’t on the App Store listing.
6. Instant: design-first, from AI or Figma
Instant is by Instant Commerce B.V. of Amsterdam, launched on August 22, 2023, and holds 4.9 stars across 338 reviews. Its listing describes it as a no-code canvas where AI builds the first draft and you make it yours, and you can also paste designs straight in from Figma. Instant builds home pages, product pages, landing pages, sections and a custom cart drawer from 800+ CRO templates, and its A/B tests track revenue, click-through rate and average order value and pick the winner automatically.
Pricing: the listing’s free Developer plan is for development stores; Starter is $39 a month (unlimited landing pages, 10 theme sections, 3 product or collection templates), Pro $99 (adds the cart drawer and A/B test sessions), Business $249, with a 7-day free trial. instant.so shows $31, $79 and $199 per month when paid yearly, and describes a free plan that publishes one page, one section and one blog post, which is more than the listing states.
Worth knowing: Instant’s FAQ says that after you uninstall, your existing pages stay available unless you delete them, but you can no longer edit them and an Instant badge appears.
7. Replo: the premium end
Replo is by Replo of San Ramon, California, launched on July 14, 2021, and holds 4.7 stars across 189 reviews. It sits 43rd in Shopify’s page builder category, the lowest of these seven, so it comes last here. Replo builds landing pages from a large template library (the listing’s headline says 1,000+, while its Starter plan lists 200+ page templates), with analytics and A/B testing it calls Experiments, and its own site now pitches it as a broader commerce platform.
Pricing: the free plan builds and previews pages but can’t publish them. Starter is $119 a month (15 published items, 1 store), and Pro is $599 (unlimited pages and sections, up to 5 stores). Replo’s site shows $99 and $499 when billed yearly. It’s the most expensive way into this list by some distance.
What are the best alternatives to Instant?
It depends on why you’re looking. Instant’s strengths are design-led: AI first drafts, Figma paste (even on its free plan), a custom cart drawer and automatic A/B winners. Each alternative below is strongest at something different, and some cost less:

Do variant image and swatch apps work with page builders?
Sometimes, and this is where page builders quietly break things. A builder replaces your theme’s product template with its own markup, so any app that filters the product gallery or draws swatches has to know that builder’s layout. Many don’t, and you only find out after the new page is live.

Whatever app you rely on for the product page, ask its developer which builders it supports before you rebuild anything, and test on a duplicate theme first.

Not always. Online Store 2.0 themes let you build pages from sections and blocks in the theme editor. A page builder helps when you need layouts your theme doesn’t offer, campaign landing pages, or A/B tests on page designs without a developer. Most builders have a free plan that publishes one page.
What happened to the Beae page builder?

What happens to my pages if I uninstall a page builder?

One last test before you pick: open the free plan of your top two, rebuild the same page in each, and time yourself. The builder you finish first is often the one worth keeping, whatever the comparison tables say, and if you’re building product pages with colour options, add per-variant image galleries to those builder pages before you launch.
